A coward dies but once. A brave man many times. As to be brave he has to be a coward first and swallow that. And every man who faces cold death and knows it, is an instant coward from then on. The smart coward who knows it is always cool and on the run and ducking. Drop the rifle, run, get back to camp, shoot in foot, go home and tell the children war stories. I never met a man who went to war who would talk about killing and death. (I never went to war, but I was in one.) What I find works is the mind. Think cool and win. Fight your battle with your mind first. If you think you can find the answer you will. This is the trick, not genius but belief. You fought in boots, shot rifles and flew in planes. You knew where you were. You were there for a grand design. A puzzle put together by a mathematician insane. You came home. I was never there. We were not there. We were here, because you were not all there. I will ask you how to kill as I do not know. Then I will tell you how to live. Or kill, as now I know both. So now you can live and kill. I know you do not want to do the latter. But we have to get some asshole to do the job and you are elected. It's an honour. And you got paid 7.50 a day for the privilege. I did not get one read cent for staying home. And I know I never will. Keep your feet warm. EC<:-}
