Stifel ups Micron target to over double yesterday's close

Stifel raises its Micron (NASDAQ: MU) price target from $75 to $85, more than double yesterday’s closing price.

Target increase follows a surprise Q2 update and CFO retirement announcement.

Firm says pre-announcement is evidence of a changed industry where consolidation, new management strategies, and diverse end markets dampen the notorious cycles.

Stifel calls Micron’s current valuation very compelling trading at 4x CY18 EPS.
