OK. We really need to generate more interest on this thread!!! Gateway is a terrific company, and DESERVES more talk. I am a gateway owner and shareholder, and believe, at the current price of 47, that this stock is undervalued. It is gaining market share, and has the best in customer loyalty. It is only trading at a P/E of 19, which is very low considering the projected increase in earnings. The industry may take a beating in the short term, as they will most likely introduce more price cuts for the holiday season. however, the 3rd and 4th quarters are traditionally strong, and I would not be surprised to see GATE trading at 65+ by the end of the fiscal year.
