Re too much cash and potential for special dividend: It would be nice for approximately $2 per share...as I would like to get most of my investment back this way -that would be cool.

I think that it is easier in Keitel's mind to pay a one-time special dividend. He is so conservative. Q management is hoping for continuing increasing of the quarterly dividend for as long as the eye can see; therefore being more conservative on the regular dividend payment is more palpable. Look at the accounting for royalties in the past -the Q actually gave up a quarter of them way back when with the WCDMA transistion for more transparency and certainty in the accounting....amazing.

This is a cash generating monster...nothing like it, ever. Mr. Market will never give but so much weight to excess cash on the books...just not in the metrics. And as we all know, many, too many, of those slimebag corporate execs figure out a way to squander billions and billions if they have it. Just look at the monumental carnage in the financial sector with Citi, Merrill, Bear, Walkoverya, etc. I trust Qualcomm and the guys running it; otherwise I wouldn't still be in this stock.

Integrity of management is the number 1 priority...give us some of our money back. ...and job well done!
