indexit, maybe the naz triple bottom @ 1598 was a factor, or the descending triangle on the 15-minute chart that broke out upward when it passed 1621. No intraday trading for me; no time, no inclination either. However, I did buy back the SOHU I sold yesterday. That stock is a really fast mover and reminds me of the old daytrading favorites like the networkers and the storage stocks 2-3 years ago. Sold my CHINA too early (again); I'll have to buy another set next time its on sale <g>
