Thanks for all of the great info, your postings are superb as usual....... DeBeers has many, many ways in which to control the marketing side of their Diamond cartel, for sure, one of the most effective ways to control the demand side of the ole supply and demand theory is by controlling the supply side, now you know as well as I do, that the easiest way to do that, is by simply leaving that portion of the inventory, in inventory, or in this case, in the ground. Everything else is academic and just so much rhetoric. IMO, the only way BeBeers will bring MPV to mining status is if they have such a remarkable resource(35 to 40% Gem Q.)and large stones and coloreds that it just would not make sense to do otherwise.I think the minibulk samples will tell the tale regards that, I believe the stock is going to go up regardless of mine status.Good bulk samples and good news releases and this stock goes up, period.....
regards trying to outthink DeBeers.....well that is what it is all about...trying to be one step up on the other guy, although frankly, I do not see what DeB gains by having a so-so diamond mine in Canada, they are not going to drop close to a billion dollars just so they can say they are one of the Canadian diamond players when they already are........they are here now.....they have diamonds in the ground now.......they control supply and demand by leaving them in the ground.....also Gabriela, my remarks should not be construed as negative because they are not. My comments are my opinions regards DeBeers long term intentions, anywhere, not just the NWT....... I believe MPV is a winner and will most likely stay a winner...but it is not an elephant.....not yet...chuck
