Douglas H. Corbett Appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing and
a Director of ALYA International, Inc.
PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 9, 1998--ALYA International,
Inc. (''ALYA'' or the ''Company'') announced today that Douglas H.
Corbett has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing and
as a Director of the Company effective immediately.
Doug's current responsibilities include managing the Company's sales
efforts world-wide and in particular coordinating the Company's
relationships with its product distributors. Doug has been
instrumental in maintaining ALYA's on-going strategic alliances with
Motorola Indala and Energy Connections (a subsidiary of Commonwealth
Energy) amongst others and he has been instrumental in directing
ALYA's marketing efforts and successes to date.
Mr. Corbett has 20 years experience in the computer and related
security industries, specializing in Sales and Customer Relations. Mr.
Corbett's international experience involves sales of advanced
Integrated Security Systems for airports and large government
facilities for Computrol Security Systems Ltd., a leading developer
and manufacturer of advanced integrated security systems.
Patrick Rowley has resigned as a Director of the Company. The Board
wishes to thank Mr. Rowley for his efforts on the Company's behalf.
