OK Dwight. Appreciate your response. If we can't limit gun ownership in some way...we ought to make it real hard for young people to handle weapons without involvement by an adult. I see the gun locks as one way to address the issue. So on a broader scale, I actually think there is some social value in gun locks. Another approach, I suppose, would be to hold a gun owner legally responsible in some way, if their guns are not secured. Apparently the younger boys grandfather had guns all over the house.
