I love my Ameritrade account because: A. It works fine for me as I try to do my orders early. B. Yesterday even though I didn't receive confirmations until nearly 11AM, all my fills came through at or near the actual market quoted; even a market buy on NTBK came through at 120 1/4! C. Its cheap.. $8!! And that for an active trader like me saves a bundle and makes it easier to "face the facts" when I am wrong. Over the years, I have lost the most money on stocks I purchased from my "full service" broker (joke).. because when they went against me I just hated to call the SOB back and take a loss. It was like everyone in the world new I had made another mistake. I LUV Ameritrade most because they force me to trade better stocks.. no margin for anything under $10 and no BB stocks either. John
