Something to think about, COOL's gross margin is over 2x as high as EGGS- one of our biggest competitors

Outpost.com reported gross profit for the quarter of $4.2 million, an 11.5% gross margin, up from gross profit of $1.7 million and gross margin of 9.9% for the same quarter last year. The current quarter's gross margin represents a sequential growth of 11% over the 10.4% gross margin for the quarter ended May 31, 1999.

Egghead.com said it expected gross margins -- a measure of profits as a percentage of sales -- to reach about 3 percent to 5 percent in the fourth quarter of 1999 and 4 percent to 6 percent in the first quarter of 2000.
