I am currently up 7.8%...it was 7.7% the day before. Considering the fact that the markets were highly volatile, I am quite satisfied that I did not fall below the break-even point of 7.7% .
I have read many articles about the disadvantages of "day-trading" . But what characteristics will label a trader as such? With the financial markets having more active traders than ever before {thanks to the invention of the internet and then online trading} , causing the markets to move many points each day {1 of the reasons}...are many of us forced to be "day traders" , as our positions {profit or loss} are closed out more frequently due to the more frequent huge moves?

Kind regards
Zeenath
