I could not reproduce this bug. It looks like the dialog for "Adjust Size…" calculates the final size, based on the specs you enter, but before you apply them. The inspector updated to the correct file dimensions once I applied my desired resize values. I could close the Inspector window with the close button, but only after the "Adjust Size…" dialog was closed. Using OS X 10.8.3 on 2.93 Ghz Intel Core i7 iMac
