Something is happening with AEye (LIDR). I have no idea what that something might be. However, consider the following: On September 16th, volume spiked 1,646% to 12,779,206 shares and closing price spiked 37% to close at $9.83 per share. Both percentage increases were the highest for this year. Thus far today with 4-hours of trading remaining, volume has increased 1,556% to 55,966,640 shares and the current price - $6.72 - is up 51% over last night's close. Based upon today's percentage increases in Price and Volume, I'm adding LIDR to the Special Situations portfolio with the anticipation that news explaining this aggressive investing will be released.
