Got a call from Kirk in answer to my call. I hope I can read my
chicken scratching.

He tried to send me some emails last weekend - couldn't make contact
with my server. I gave him my juno address as a backup.

I gave him the RICA chat board address on SI Investor. He wants to
post to us. In fact, he wants to try to do a real time chat sometime.
I suggested www.netcapital.com but he says he forgot his password and
I never got mine. (But I just got word from marcus we can use it
without passwords for the time being. I'll tell Kirk.)

Five (5) new analysts plan to travel to Costa Rica by the end of the
month. They have buyers behind them that can trade "the whole float".

Will do another meeting by the end of October but this will be for the
market rather than for analysts. He hopes he can get Waaco involved.
I said Waaco would love to get involved with that.

Applied to American Exchange and expects to hear by the end of the
week. If approved, may trade on both exchanges for a while to see how
it goes! (Wouldn't that be a blast?)

I said, but NASDAQ MMs have been good to us but he disagreed. He said
the trading day after the big Friday runup, there were a couple big
sales that were legitimate. Then Shorty jumped us and beat the price
down until M. H. Meyerson came in at their price and did their buying
for their accounts. When buyers in California saw the price hold,
they started buying and the price went back up again. There is no way
I would play their game without adequate visibility. I buy what I
like and hang on. Right now with the price so ridiculously low,
Shorty can cover at his leisure. There is plenty of money interested
in RICA. They just have to be convinced the price won't go lower.
It's all a game.

Hasn't checked on the status of the USDA approval so nothing new to
report.

Auditors are working on getting books up to date. End of the
reporting year will be September 30.

Meetings are coming soon on how to finance first couple acquisitions.
Won't have anything to do with share price.

I asked about hiring an investors relations office. He said he
himself is good enough for now. I said I told my group that they can
come to me with their questions first.

There are a couple more items on the horizon, he didn't say what they
were.

TARGETS: I have been asked a lot about targets. I don't do targets
and I normally don't pass along Kirk's, but I think the recent past
has provided RICA and Kirk with a certain amount of credibility, so
keeping in mind these are Kirk's, not mine, here are his targets.

This Fall, after the latest analysts visits, 6 or 7.

By the end of the year, 8.

A year from now, 12 to 15 at least.

Regards, Charles, afn04761@afn.org and qlsi@juno.com
