LAKE FOREST, Ill. (Dow Jones)--Pactiv Corp. (PTV) purchased the remaining 30% interest of Mexico-based Central de Bolsas SA, also known as Jaguar Corp., for about $22 million.

Jaguar Corp. is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Pactiv, a packaging products maker that reported 2002 sales of $2.88 billion and earned $148 million after an accounting adjustment.

In a press release Friday, Pactiv said Jaguar makes polystyrene for cold cups and plates, polystyrene foam and expandable polystyrene hot cups.

In September 2002, Pactiv agreed to pay $66 million for 70% of Jaguar and retained the option to purchase the other 30%. The deal was completed in October.

Pactiv formed a joint venture to facilitate the acquisition.
