Looks to me like health care reform is going to fail. Again. Instead of blaming the opposition when the Democrats control the entire federal government ... as they did the last time they tried this and failed .... why not admit they bit off too much.

What has happened to give you the impression that the Obama / Pelosi Administration is capable of this? Neither of them have ever admitted being wrong that I have witnessed.

Instead of making reform about the uninsured and compassion for them, they chose to make it about changing the health care of EVERYONE ELSE in the country, most of whom are satisfied with their health coverage as it is,

Those who control the language of a debate tend to win it. This is government takeover of the US healthcare industry. The goal is to destroy the American miracle that has improved the health of nearly everyone in the world.

They know that rationing will be required. They know that innovation will slow to a slow roll. They want to control the economy. Guaranteeing democrat control of government is worth the premature death of hundreds of millions of people in the world.

If the Democrats really cared about the uninsured, 45 million or however many of them there are, they would have made reform about THEM ONLY.

There is not a drop of compassion in their coldly calculating minds.

The calls for bipartisanship, for Republicans to join with Democrats on this and on cap and trade should be spurned. The Democrats don't need a single Republican vote for these bill and haven't been willing to give Republicans any say in their drafting. Just a demand to go along with what Democrats want.

Yes.

I say let the Democrats own it all. The calls for Republicans to join them is just a ploy to spread the blame if and when disaster results.

The Republicans should be an opposition party, not Socialist Lite.

A person has to brilliant to be a conservative politician. The liberally biased formerly mainstream media spurn moderates and conservatives. They kick them until they are down and then close on conservatives like a pack of wolves finishing the kill.

Media provides balance by fawning over even the most insipid liberals as if their every moronic utterance were brilliant.
