Anything can happen but IMO the long side is extremely risky. The numbers AOL put out are very questionable. AOL ain't DELL. Any large trader cornering shorts at these hights runs the risk of being cornered himself on the way down. Better lead than to be lead. One strategy they may play is to buy a s..load of puts around current prices and then dump the long position + switch into short gear on the way down.
