I find their reasoning a little weak! What about Alcatel? They have a great European presence since they are a French company after all. I also wonder about the Lucent-American connection. Like someone already mentioned, Lucent could certainly rebuild their networks but who is going to write the check? Oh, I forgot! America will! Since we are the world's policemen it is our responsibility to pay for this.

I will flip out if Clinton goes to Congress with that one!
