< Have you got any ideas on how to avoid those germs? >

Campylobacter is found in the excreta of 30 to 100% of chickens, turkeys, and water fowl. Cook the chicken well. Wash the cutting board and knife, and the kitchen counter with soap and water.

Chicken also carries Salmonella. Minced meat is known for E.Coli, causing bloody diarrhea. Cook well. Steak is safer than minced meat, because the surface contamination with E.Coli is easily destroyed by the flame. In minced meat E.Coli gets in everywhere. So cook well.
The only way to avoid the germs is not to eat the above food. The next best thing is to cook them well.

Enough about bugs today.
