This is a good point about the IBM chips. Also the new Rhapsody OS is Unix based, which means the system should have few crashes, better performance, and threaded (meaning more than one application can run at the same time sharing a single CPU). Time will tell, and it may take a while for Rhapsody to come up to speed after the release. But it is a step IMHO the right direction. Also remember the Mhz/Ghz, is not the only factor. The bandwidth from the CPU to the cache, size of cache, type of memory, bandwidth to memory, general architecture are at least as important as the over quoted Mhz rating. Mark
