Im my opinion, I don't think SEG is in a financial position to buy up any more SNDK shares.

I'm am not in favor of a buy-out just yet because I don't want to lose this pure play on Sandisk's technology. But it might just happen. Our CEO really wants to see this thing play out. I think he'll hold out as long as possible. However, he's getting older. He's been working on this for a long time. He's becoming a very rich man. He might want to get out. Who knows.

I'm expecting two tremendous quarterly reports (3Q + 4Q '97). I wouldn't be surprised by a buy-out sometime in '98. I just hope they hold off for awhile.

By the way, does anyone know what happens to call/put options if the underlying company is bought out or is merged? Wouldn't I just have to wait for the stock to trade up to the buy-out price and then sell?
I've never had to deal with such a situation before.

Continued good luck.
