Gottfried,

Excellent suggestion to download via IE as Netscape was just not amenable at all. However.......

Now for my story of woe:

The downloaded file is: rs405eng.exe.
Forget how long it took with my 28.8 modem.
I then rebooted & tried to read the .pdf file, without success.

So, thinking I had to unzip it, I then did a Find File search, but zip, zilch, nada came up. Appears the file is no where to be found!

I then attempted to download again. And each time the file flies from the left folder to right folder it flashes a red dot (like it acknowledges it's already there - that's my interpretation, anyway).

At this point, I've just about given up.
I'm open to any other suggestions, as I've never experienced this type of download problem before.

TIA,

Tig
