Hi David,

Actually, there are more rules... but they are minor compared to the ones posted.

For example:
- don't buy index options... they are way too expensive.
- buy options on stocks which are under $50. This is becuase, in genral, they are more volatile.
- don't buy options where the daily volume is less than 100... or on a thinly traded stock... you can get taken to the cleaners.
- don't just look at the stocks chart characteristics... check the industry group index and the general market to see what may be happening generally.

etc, etc, etc.

It is so much easier to fly by the seat of your pants... but I can't afford to anymore.
