Transnet Receives Contract From State Of New Jersey
BRANCHBURG, N.J., Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Transnet Corp announced today that it has been awarded a contract with the State of New Jersey as its vendor of Novell computer products. The contract is for a term of two years.
Commenting on the results, Steven J. Wilk, TransNet president, said, "We are pleased with this award as we continue to penetrate the markets of educational, local and state agencies in the way that we have reached the Corporate marketplace. We recognized that these institutions have a great need to upgrade their existing systems, and in many instances have already received budgetary approval to pay for the design, procurement and implementation of the new networks. As we continue to compete in this marketplace, we are pleased with our success to date. Unlike many corporate customers, educational, local and state agencies have the need for system integrators, contractors and outsourcing firms for a greater amount of their system requirements, and we believe that TransNet is best able to provide this array of products and technical support services."
