16 top AI-related stocks to own heading into year-end: Wedbush

Sep. 06, 2025 12:35 PM ETBy: Ravikash Bakolia, SA News Editor

Wedbush highlighted 16 AI-related stocks, including Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) and Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ: PLTR), to play the "AI Revolution" for the rest of the year and into early 2026.

"We believe the AI Revolution is now heading into its next stage of growth as the tidal wave of Big Tech capex spending coupled by enterprise use cases now exploding across verticals is creating a number of AI winners in the tech world," said analysts led by Daniel Ives.

The analysts noted that in the last six weeks they saw a major validation moment for their AI Revolution bull thesis as the cloud stalwarts Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) and Alphabet's (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL) Google are leading the charge on this unprecedented spending cycle.

Nvidia's robust earnings and demand commentary from CEO Jensen Huang last week speak to the evolution of AI spending now spreading beyond Big Tech to governments, enterprises, energycapacity, and overall infrastructure build outs around the globe, the analysts added.

"This speaks to our view that the next 3-6 months will be defined by the 2nd/3rd/4th derivatives of the AI Revolution playing out," said Ives and his team.

The following are the names that Wedbush highlighted as the "best ways to play the AI Revolution for the rest of the year into early 2026 and names that stick out to own in the tech world."

Best software AI names to own: Palantir (NASDAQ: PLTR) and MongoDB (NASDAQ: MDB).

Top AI chip names to own: Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) and Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD).

Consumer AI name set to dominate the landscape: Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META).

Best cybersecurity names to play the AI theme: CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) and Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ: PANW).

Top large-cap AI ideas into year-end: Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL) and Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT).

Best AI turnaround names on the horizon: Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) and Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA).

Best AI energy plays: Oklo (NYSE: OKLO) and GE Vernova (NYSE: GEV).

Under the radar AI robotics name: Serve Robotics (NASDAQ: SERV).

Best AI infrastructure names to play the theme: CoreWeave (NASDAQ: CRWV) and Nebius (NASDAQ: NBIS).

The analysts said that for now, AI is being driven by a handful of U.S. big tech players spending almost $350B on Cap-Ex this year with now the "cavalry" coming, as more enterprises and governments from around the world get into the AI spending game.

"While the bears will fret about valuations and have been skeptical of the historical tech rally, we stress that if you focus solely on valuation looking out a year with P/E.....you would have missed every transformational growth tech stock the last 20 years," said Ives and his team.

The analysts added that names like Palantir will further grow into their valuations over the coming years and while healthy pullbacks will happen..."we believe Palantir is a trillion market cap in the next 2-3 years given its AI secret sauce that is disrupting the software landscape like an earthquake."
