Jackson:
In some way, IDTI's performance on both CL and C6/C6+ are similar: both are trying to catch a moving target. In X86 business, Intel is the one who define the standard and price. Given Intel's manufacture and market muscle, it is tough to beat or catch up with Intel. In some way, IDTI is smarter than AMD. IDTI is only trying to gain some market on low-end PC while egromanic Jerry Sander of AMD is trying to beat Intel. The primary risky on the low-end market is the that product may become out of dated so that the cost cannot be recovered.
At the current market conditions, it is hard for me to believe that IDTI would drop below $10. If one takes out the C6/C6+ and CL business, IDTI and CY probably are about same. Since CY has been traded between $9 and $10 range for quite sometime, it is hard to imagine that C6/C6+ and CL business are worthy only about $1. Of course, if the tech sector declines significantly, IDTI will probably drop below $10. |
