re <Anyone else think we should give up a third of our investment on a 2:1 vs 3:1 !!??>

Permit me to allay your concern. The increase in shares to 4.5 billion is an increase in the "AUTHORIZED" shares, not the number of "OUTSTANDING" shares. It is common place for a corporation to have a much higher number of authorized shares than outstanding shares. IMHO, this merely gives the board authority to effect another 2:1 split, in addition to the May 1997 split, without seeking another increase in the number of AUTHORIZED shares. Personally, I believe another 2:1 could happen within a year.
