Fury in France

The poor and largely Muslim suburbs of Paris erupted in rioting in October, leaving at least one dead and many more injured. The riots spurred debate in France about race relations, religion and what it means to be French. Muslims, many of them from the families of North African immigrants, make up some 10 percent of the country's population.
