bilow, in the bay area many engineers play the ipo shuffle. get employed with private co going ipo, stay 6 mos until vested, repeat. remember, the 4-5 year vesting plan typically applies to those employees hired post ipo... my suggestion sent to don in a pm was to count all vested options as current share dilution - eliminate the delay until they are exercised. are liabilities counted as liabilities ONLY when they are paid?
