If only the "real" news media were half as diligent as the Daily Show. NPR is holding its fund drive, now, and even though I am a long-time member, I am tempted not to renew my membership, as a protest over their coverage of the Presidential campaign. I've heard no incisive, investigative work; no coverage of platforms, issues - just a bunch of the same style handicapping and beauty pageant dreck as the commercial networks.
