rainman you're reading my mind. I just got back from my options analysis and was looking at that EXACT same strategy. Maybe a 25 CALL which are cheap and still under the recent 27 top and a 17 1/2 PUT. My rationale for the PUT that far out would be that if it breaks 20 (our other put option) I think it will collapse back to 15-13. (remember the Gap at 20 1/2)
Sure wish I was a little bird in that ZIP factory : )

Maybe the 20 PUTs and 22 1/2 CALLS would be safer, but hey this is IOMG land and if it goes it'll probably go big-ONE WAY or the OTHER. Lot more expensive too.
Actually,Maybe Erase that thought on the 25 CALL , One day to move that far? I don't know-not a very good risk/reward scenario.

The puts could work that far out of the money because if IOMG misses the mark (maybe even just "meets" the mark) it WILL BE PUNISHED. As Candlesticks say, It's easier to run downhill than up.

I played another high P/E stock this way and it "only" met earnings. It went down 5 overnight and 5 or 6 more the next day. The street was looking for it to beat by a couple cents.

Of course who knows, I may be wrong about upside between now and 18th and it'll breakout and 25s would see money, but I still don't see it. Charts are VERY ugly and today did nothing to erase that.
I know, I know , I'm rambling. Thinking-out-loud-stream-of-consciousness (unconsciousness?)Crapola.

Got the whole weekend to think it over.

Thanks for the strokes. I don't TRY to offend, but it sure is easy on this thread. Very touchy bunch. Appreciate the fact that you realize my intentions. Like I've said before I don't think of myself so highly to think I can move a stock price with my BS. I just want an exchange of information and to make some $$$$.

Thanks and E-mail me if you want to swap ideas on a straddle play over the weekend without clogging up this thread.

PS. Trakker and anyone else who should know better by now, that "touchy bunch stuff" wasn't aimed at you, so don't send in the flamethrowers : )
