>>>It may be technical.<<<< I agree. This stock gave investors a 10-fold increase in price in a year's time. The "smart money" cashed in and left the stock in "weaker" hands. I've seen this happen with other new issues and small companies that are on their way to being big companies -- the first money in rides the stock up, momentum builds, more people jump in, etc., there's a frenzy of buying -- and then everything expected from the company in the way of growth, etc. for the next several years, is factored in and then some, and the stock becomes seriously over-valued. The smart money gets out and goes on to "greener pastures" -- leaving a lot of individual investors wondering what happened. Cymer might be the best company in the world, but unfortunately, it got over-valued too fast, too soon, and the big gains were just too good not to sell. Now we're settling in to reality. |
