Every country has its problems but only one seems to be mad with power. And in the eyes of much of the world the US is plain nuts just now. Patriotism can be a noble thing but the forces of evil (to coin a phrase?) are alive and well near the very centre of power and will pervert the honest patriotism of the citizenry for their own gain - political and financial. How long will it take people to see through the simplistic sloganeering?
