Yes, Sarbane did what any Oxford grad would do---of course, after promissing more money for research, etc.

I do not, however, see any point in the Fed's attempt to manage the aggrgate demand in an economy which is not understood (per their admission). Overall, since every move that the Fed makes is already incorporated in the expectations of the investors & consumers, therefore, the Fed's policies will not have the intended significant impact that they are aimed for. It just may harm the natural growth of this wonderful economy.
