You have clearly studied this out much more carefully than I have. As someone who has just come in, the financial reports look solid and I think that any company that does a buyback is improving shareholder value (except when it's a hugely overvalued tech stock). I confess I am also relying on the careful analysis of Kurt Wulff: mcdep.com If you go down far enough in this pdf file you find Purcell. I have allowed myself to be scared out of a lot of my natural gas positions and I am holding Purcell as a frank speculation with a 3-5-year horizon. Thanks for your comment and questionings. If anything bad turns up (or good!) please let me know.
