I believe, that if Comcast terminates it agreement with ATHM and went with RR, they would have to return all their ATHM shares at about 50 cents each.
I'm not sure how many ATHM shares Comcast got to sign, but if you multiply that number by ~$146+, were looking at hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars in lost paper profits for Comcast. This would seem a great dis-incentive for Comcast to defect to RR.

Would AT&T be willing to just convert MediaOne RR users to @Home and take the loss on RR value for the purpose of gaining on the increased value of @Home shares?
