I opened an investment account with the intent to avoid bad investments, like, say banks losing billions of dollars a quarter with terrible management and no foresight of train wrecks even mere simpletons would discern in the tea leaves.

So here I am, forced to pay taxes at jailpoint so I can be compelled to invest in these same avoid-or-lose-it-all enterprises.

Sweet.

I use the word 'enterprises' rather loosely.

Truly not unlike what I'd expect to read of poor saps living, working, and paying taxes in Mexico, or Columbia, or Zimbabwe.
