I think a lot of people owned homes with high mortgages so those statistics could possibly mean home ownership before the mortgage crisis. I would like to see one now. Thousands and thousands of homeowners have vacated the premises now and we know why. In Stockton Ca. which I think was the worst a home that was over $ 300.000 can be bought for $50.000
