Delicious Alternative Desserts Ltd. Announces Closing of
$980,000 Financing

STONEY CREEK, ONTARIO--Delicious Alternative Desserts Ltd. (the
"Corporation") is pleased to announce the closing today of a
$980,000 financing in the form of 1,960,000 Special Warrants
issued to various investors in Ontario and Alberta.

The subscription price of each Special Warrant was $0.50 and the
Special Warrants are convertible into one common share each
automatically upon the filing of the final prospectus in the
jurisdictions in which the Special Warrantholders are resident.

The Special Warrant financing is part of a larger financing
involving the issuance of 2,750,000 Series 1 Special Notes,
announced March 30, 1999 and expansion of the Corporation's senior
debt facility. The total financing will be used in connection
with the costs incurred from the renovation of the Corporation's
plant in Stoney Creek, Ontario, expansion of the Corporation's
distribution system.

The Corporation has had to acquire additional trucks to meet the
delivery requirements of its products in its distribution system
throughout Ontario.
