Toronto, Ontario, Sep. 12, 2000 (Market News Publishing via COMTEX) -- Certicom, a leading provider of mobile e-commerce security, announced that Citrix Systems, Inc., a global leader in application server software and services has licensed Certicom's SSL Plus(TM) and WTLS Plus(TM) to provide advanced security in its family of leading application service software products. Specifically, Citrix(R) NFuse(TM) 1.5, an application portal product that enables Windows(R) and Unix(R) applications running on a Citrix MetaFrame(TM) software server farm to be "published" on a Web page, will use software code from Certicom for SSL encryption between the MetaFrame software server and the Web server.
