About 7 years ago or so, I stopped following a manager who had very nice performance.

He distributed his newsletter through paper mail and email. I believe his first name was Ken or Dean?

His methodology was mostly fundamental as he rated earning surprises - mainly in terms of quarterly and sequential earnings growth, and the volume surge on the day of the earnings surprise. Using that and his own scoring system, he developed a point system to rate earnings surprises and only selected the best as buys.

During the time that I followed him, his performance was spectacular.

Again it was 7 or so years ago, but I'm wondering if anyone remembers this manager by chance.

Thanks.....
