Just a couple of points. One, even if this stock goes down to 10, does anyone really believe that it won't at least go back up to 17 or 18 by fall? From 10 that would be a 70% - 80% increase and from 12 about a 50% increase. Is everyone too greedy to accept that level of profit in 6 months. This is not a poorly run company that is bleeding and losing money. Their margins are going up and they are not losing market share. They consistently guide analysts precisely to earnings. They recently announced that everything was going well and that margins are going up. Wouldn't you expect them to be right on or a little over estimates on earnings? We are seeing CRUS bleed to death, they are almost paying companies to use their graphic chips. Why, because S3 stole their market out from under them. If they did this with graphic chips, why won't they also be able to do this with mobile graphic chips, sound chips, DVD, etc.? Another point that people keep stressing but no one seems to hear. We are in a market correction, stocks go down during corrections. Look where TRID, CHPS, IBM, CRUS, INTC, etc. have gone down to from their earlier highs. Why shoudn't S3 also be affected? This has been an incredible buying opportunity, and still is for only who knows how much longer. I know that there are a lot of smart people out there on this thread and that they also realize that this is also a seasonal thing with semi companies. I have listed several factors why the stock has gone down and why it will also go back up. Remember, the fundamentals haven't changed at S3. It is a profitable, well run, and vibrant company. Don't listen to idiots, either who get paid to come on threads to scare people for the benefits of shorts, or just because they noticed something that happens each year and think they are the next stock picking guru because of something plain to see. I know many people got in when the stock was in the high teens, be patient, S3 will go back up and so will the rest of the market.
