Jim,re:"Bernanke..". Give the man a break. There is a lot of
'powerful people' to deal with and he is probably on some of
those people's favse list. His arm is at least sore if not
already broken.

If "someone" approches him and the conversation goes like:
"do you support the troop?" or
"do you believe in our God?" or
"you have a nice family, let us help protect them from bad
people if you can just ...?"
... simply not an easy position that one enjoys to be in.

Just make sure you are on the right(left) side of the equation
when FED is handing out money.

this adminstration's musical chairs.
