I was not questioning Steve's knowledge of the Bible or his servitude in the church, I was just pointing out that is not that simple. And if you want to talk about love lets, God is also a severe God concerning sin and not all that "love" are the children of God. Jesus said love your enemies, and He made it a point to make sure He was understood giving the example that if someone loves only his family or relatives he\she is doing nothing more then what the nonbelievers do. The conclusion to this post is that is not enough to pay lip service to love but to actually do something more then the average nonbeliver. If you want an excellent example of what I am talking about look at the life of Mother Teresa. Nuf said. Regards Joshua P.S. BTW it seems to me that the same God you advocate He is only love will place someone in hell for eternity to suffer for ever. Don't take me wrong I believe He is totally justified in doing that, since there is only one way to be forgiven that is to belive in Jesus Christ alone ( not in your own good deeds) but this point did not come out from your post.
