It is difficult to deny power to those that hold the guns. History also shows that most people are passive, until forced into confrontation.

In ruthless dictatorships, the people have little say. Now that the Afghanistan people see that liberation is coming, they are rising up against the Taliban. Unfortunately, the Taliban are leaving a trail of blood and carnage behind them as the flee. Like the Nazis did in World War II, they want to leave no witnesses to their atrocities and looting. |
