Thanks for correcting my mistaken impression that Sun didn't need JENE directly.

From your thorough explanation, it is clear that Sun cannot gain the dominance it seeks for JAVA/JINI
without the facilitative technology embodied in Insignia's JENE. Given the portability advantage of JAVA
over C or C++ as a progamming language for embedded systems, companies who sign on to JINI and are
developing devices with constrained memory have no choice now but to look seriously into JENE.

INSGY is, indeed, in the right place at the right time!!!
