Thanks, rimshot! I wish I had your tolerance for the cold. Alas, my extremities do not tolerate it.

I'm making my 9-vegetable, turkey pasta soup this weekend. It's like a 6-hour thing, but not too hard.

After that, it's African Sweet Potato Soup, my daughter's favorite.

This is the recipe. I double it, and puree it after it is cooked. I also add the rice, salsa and P-butter after the puree. I also add in 1-tsp paprika and 1-tsp ginger.

It is glorious. We first made it for a group of African singers who stayed at our house about 14-years ago. It's been a regular meal for us since. My daughter always asks for it on her birthday.
