Eric: I agree -- in my view, the market has been lifted by this added fuel -- it does this by increasing the demand for stocks. Take away the fuel and it is logical to assume the market will lose altitude. Less liquidity in the new year will lower demand for stocks. $196 billion is a pretty hefty shot in the arm. I know there are those who will say year-end bonuses, etc. will more than offset this -- but there are also many potential sellers waiting for the next tax year to begin before they take profits.
