Reg. the commissions and fees on EBAY. They don't take 25%. This is what I have had to give them considering the items that did not sell and still have fees associated with them plus the % given to them on the items sold.

If you list and don't sell you have incurred listing fees. If you sell then a certain percentage goes to ebay based on a sliding scale.

Items that aren't bought make no profit-----there are listing fees with those-----so if you don't recoup the listing fees with a sell that becomes a negative. And, then if you decide to relist and the item doesn't sell the second time-----you have incurred a second set of listing fees. If you relist and do sell then the second set of listing fees is subtracted.

It is truly fascinating.
