14:20 ET Goldman Sachs sees select broadcast stocks as attractive
Goldman Sachs views broadcasting stocks CCU, VIA, UVN, WON, and LAMR as attractive due to compelling valuations, improving fundamentals, and strong free cash flow; firm says these stocks are weak based on the following factors: speculation about a possible SEC investigation that reportedly held up a shelf filing by CCU (which co denied), Sen Feingold introducing legislation to re-regulate radio (firm sees passage as unlikely), and investor skepticism of EBITDA-based valuation after the WCOM collapse (free cash flow analysis takes capex into account, so no WCOM-like distortion).
